4. Treat insect bites and poison ivy
A compress made with Epsom salts is a great way to treat mosquito bites, bee stings and poison ivy. Mix 2 tablespoons of salts with 1 cup of warm water. Soak a clean cloth in the mixture and hold on affected area to remove pain, burning and itching.

  1. when i was younger, my parents used (magnesium sulphate) epsom salts in liquid form, for any cuts that had started to go septic, or boils etc. to draw the badness out. worked wonders

  2. Can you soak in fluoride water bath even with epsom salts? Will the epsom salts remove fluoride from the bathwater and not flood us with fluoride in our skins?

  3. I’m in remission from my lupus , but my body still hurts down to my bones and I get migraine headaches . I use the salts and 8 drops of lavender. Believe me it works and without side affects like drugs do.

  4. You need to be very careful ingesting Epsom salts. If you use too much, too often, it can perforate your intestines and lead to death. I worked at a dialysis clinic and have seen it happen to a person who was trying to relieve her constipation. There are safer things on the market to cure that problem. I wouldn’t recommend Epsom salts for that.

  5. How do you apply it. I didn’t see mic with liquids so I assume you don’t drink it. If you apply to skin then where? A friend has lupus and I’d like to tell her about it

    for removal of fluoride from your drinking water i suggest getting a Berkey drinking system with the proper filters.

  7. a relaxing and wellness bath – epsom salts, baking soda, lavender oil in the bath, room lite with candles or natural light from outside, music if you like but the gentle kind that lends itself to a relax contented state, a beverage – i like a herbal tea and i use a stainless steel cup so as not to be worried about glass breakage, and keep the tea hot. have your bed turned down so as to go directly from the bath into bed and lights out – well maybe a mini read of a real book no electronics… take care, sr c

  8. Will Epsom salts remove fluoride in bathwater when taking a bath? Because most of us do not have a ‘whole house water filter’ to remove fluoride and because of that, we don’t take baths 🙁
    Unless you say Epsom salts will remove fluoride???
