
6. Garlic
Garlic is well known for its antibacterial and antifungal properties. However, garlic is also a powerful anti-inflammatory  food that can reduce swelling in the tonsils that causes snoring due to sleep apnea. If you are a sleep apnea sufferer, chew on a few fresh cloves of garlic each night before going to bed. Trust me, your sleeping partner won’t mind the aroma if it stops your snoring – the trade-off is worth it!
