This is such a simple and inexpensive recipe for an all-natural toothpaste. I am always searching for recipes for everyday beauty and health treatments that are a healthy alternative to store-bought items. For that reason, this is a great choice.
I am amazed at how fast and easy it is to whip up. Making my own all-natural toothpaste gives me peace of mind because I know that the ingredients are from the earth. It is actually good for me without any harmful ingredients. I love how fresh my mouth feels after I brush my teeth.

Sounds easy! I have all the ingredients – I would skip the packet of stevia…
I use coconut oil + food grade baking soda. I’ve used this for several years now. The best!
I’ve tried this (plain coconut and baking soda, no flavorings or sweetening), but coconut’s melting point is right in the middle of “room temperature” (rock solid today and soup tomorrow) and it’s annoying not being able to spit it in the sink for fear of gunking up the pipes. Now I use baking soda and peroxide. Peroxide’s already in the bathroom, so I can mix it when I discover I’m low, it’s easy to adjust the thickness of the paste, and I don’t have to worry about the plumbing.
